FPU student president for a day

The president and the psychology major got a look inside each other's lives at Fresno Pacific University. Elizabeth Renee Goularte, a junior from Riverdale, was president for a day in April as part of a contest sponsored by the campus Career Resource Center and Student Activities Committee. Goularte was chosen based on her essay detailing how she as a leader would make her community more inclusive. The campus Diversity Task Force judged entries. As part of the prize, Goularte spent some time with Haak and Haak visited one of her classes. The CRC also provided a shopping trip to help Goularte pick out professional attire.
