Fresno Pacific University’s Symphonic Band is one of four ensembles in the United States chosen to perform at the 2018 Western International Band Clinic. The group will play the first evening concert on Saturday, November 17, in the Grand Ballroom of the SeaTac Doubletree Inn in Seattle.

More than 150 directors attended the 2017 event. Honor concerts have been presented by ensembles ranging from the Canadian Brass to the U.S. Navy Commodores as well as middle school, high school, university and community bands.

The Symphonic Band is conducted by Erik Leung, D.M.A., assistant professor of music, director of bands and coordinator of instrumental music at FPU.
