Fresno Pacific University has a gift for CUE members in honor of the education group’s 40th anniversary.

In celebration of CUE’s success as well as FPU’s continued partnership in providing conference/workshop credit and the Innovative Educator Certificate, FPU is offering all active CUE members a 10 percent tuition discount on the university’s Master of Arts in Educational Technology program. “This fully online, 30-unit master’s degree is relevant, rigorous and informed by high quality faculty and leadership from CUE,” said Matt Gehrett, Ed.D., program director. The M.A. in Educational Technology prepares educators to understand best practices and approaches to become leaders in integrating technology at the district level. Students are working professionals who learn in groups, called “cohorts,” that provide support.

The curriculum stresses strategic and innovative thinking about both the most effective and ethical uses of technology in the classroom. The degree is aligned with the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) and the National Educational Technology Standards for Teaching (NETS-T). It is also accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission.

CUE provides educational benefits to thousands of educators worldwide through continuing education classes, conferences, government advocacy and partnerships with organizations such as the International Society for Technology in Education. The private organization also publishes a journal, produces digital content and honors excellence among members and leaders in education technology and communities.
