David Bruce Rose, Ph.D., associate professor of marriage and family therapy, spoke at the "Count Me In Convention" hosted by the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Community October 10-12, 2014, at the Anaheim Convention Center. Rose and co-presenter Andy Berrett, an MFT student, gave two workshops titled: "When Faith Becomes Denial" and "Motivational Interviewing: A New Tool to Address Denial." The talks both had to do with the role of Christian faith in addictions treatment.
