As stated in the presentation abstract: “In order for children to grow academically and socially it is critical they learn how to manage their emotions and to learn how to build long lasting relationships with others. This is especially true of children who live with physical and health impairments. Participants will learn of the successful implementation by the presenters of both Montessori Inspired Practice and Intentional Teaching Strategies used in planned instruction during a fifteen-week period with students. Professionally prepared video/photography captured during instructional periods accompany the presentation.”
