New works by faculty authors were celebrated at a book party November 18 on the Seminary House patio hosted by the FPU Biblical and Religious Studies Department. In the spotlight were Ryan Schellenberg, Ph.D., assistant professor of biblical studies; Julie Lane, Ed.D., assistant professor of special education; and Quentin Kinnison, Ph.D., associate professor of contemporary Christian ministries. Schellenberg published Rethinking Paul's Rhetorical Education: Comparative Rhetoric and 2 Corinthians 10-13, and Lane and Kinnison joined forces for Welcoming Children with Special Needs: Empowering Christian Special Education through Purpose, Policies, and Procedures. The authors made brief comments to the assembled faculty, staff and students.
