The Applied Theater emphasis is for those interested in using their theater skills in the community. This includes contexts such as school/after-school programs, community and neighborhood organizations, church or camp/conference centers, and involves developing original theater based on the assets and interests of people in the communities. Pairs well with a major or minor in Social Work, Sociology, Contemporary Christian Ministries, Communication, Criminal Justice, and Liberal Studies.
