FPU student to compete for Miss California

Tayler Wolfe, who enjoys volunteering, won the Miss Central Valley Pageant.

The third time was a charm for Dinuba's Tayler Wolfe. The 20-year-old blue-eyed college junior was crowned Miss Central Valley earlier this month and will compete for the title of Miss California in June.

Wolfe served a year as Miss Dinuba in 2009-10. She then ran unsuccessfully for Miss Tulare County in both 2011 and 2012.

“I felt like it took me this amount of time to learn the ins and outs [of pageants],” said Wolfe, who is studying at Fresno Pacific University in Fresno.

She found success on March 2 at the Miss Tulare County pageant where multiple titles were awarded, including Miss Tulare County, Tulare County Outstanding Teen, Miss Central Valley and Central Valley Outstanding Teen.
