The International Programs and Services Office is an international student's home away from home. Being international ourselves, we know what it's like to live and study abroad. Our goal is to help you integrate into the Fresno Pacific University community and American culture.
Our primary purpose is to make the transition to American culture easier for international students. Personal and confidential counseling is available if you are dealing with issues such as homesickness, culture shock, language difficulty and a variety of other concerns. We also provide opportunities for international students to introduce their country and culture to the community through coffee hours (Culture Cafe) and evening activities, such as the Intercultural Food Festival.
Fresno Pacific offers international students a variety of academic programs, scholarships, interesting activities and friendship opportunities on campus and throughout California.
FPU, as one of the top Western regional universities, takes special pride in its community of international students.
Our academic programs begin late August (fall semester) and early January (spring semester). Please allow for enough time to apply, receive your documents, schedule an interview with the consulate and travel to the U.S.
