Meet the IPSO Staff
Arnie Prieb, Director of International Programs & Services Office
Arnie was born and raised in Congo, Africa. His parents served as missionaries there for 30 years. He completed his B.A. in biblical studies at Fresno Pacific University and obtained an M.A. in world mission at Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. He has served as director of Hartland Christian Camp in the Sierras, director of recruitment at MBBS and as associate director of admissions at Fresno Pacific University's Center for Degree Completion.
Oxana Jomiru, International Admissions Counselor
Oxana was born in Chisinau, Moldova. She completed her B.A. in intercultural studies and languages at Fresno Pacific University. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology. She enjoys studying and teaching languages as well as working with children. Her goal is to obtain a career as a speech therapist and continue working with FPU international programs. She speaks Russian, Romanian, English and some Spanish.
Chandra Friesen Johnson, Director of Academic Language Proficiency Services
Chandra has lived in and traveled to many places in the world, including South Korea, Canada, China, Thailand, Lithuania and Oklahoma. She completed her B.A. in English at Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kansas, and her M.A. in TESOL at Fresno Pacific University. Chandra has worked with English language learners for many years, but always loves learning about new cultures and meeting new students. Chandra enjoys teaching in and directing the Intensive English Language Program, as well as developing English for Academic Purposes courses to meet the needs of all students at Fresno Pacific University.
