Ways to Give

When you make a donation to FPU, you impact our students, the community and the world. Since each gift and giver is important to us, we offer a variety of ways to make a contribution.

Cash, checks or credit cards

The easiest and most common way to give is through gifts of cash, check or credit card.

  • Donate online now—use our secure web form 24 hours a day
  • By mail—please make your check* out to:
Fresno Pacific University
University Advancement
1717 S. Chestnut Ave.
Fresno, CA 93702-4709

*Please designate, at the bottom of your check, the fund to which you would like your donation allocated. Donations cannot be made to an individual student's account.

We accept checks from U.S. and international banks as well as American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.

Tax receipts for gifts of cash, check or credit card are issued within 2-3 days of receipt.

Donations must be received or postmarked by December 31 in order to be eligible for a charitable deduction on income tax returns for that year.

Matching gifts

Gifts to the university can easily be doubled by taking advantage of corporate matching gift programs. Many corporations will match the gifts of current or retired employees as well as their spouses. Use the below form to find out if your company matches gifts or check with your human resources office.

Simply obtain a matching gift form from your employer; complete your portion of the matching gift form, and then mail your gift and the matching gift form to:

FPU employee voluntary payroll deduction

The Voluntary Payroll Deduction program allows FPU employees to make a gift to FPU directly by dividing your donation into smaller portions paid throughout the year. Every gift, no matter the size, adds up over time when consistently given. Twice a month, your donation to FPU will be deducted automatically from your paycheck (after taxes). Voluntary Payroll Deduction is a convenient way to make a difference for those programs, teams or scholarships you wish to support.
