Discussing the results of any assessment with a trained career counselor is important, as they can help you make sense of your results and guide you in making a deliberate and thoughtful career development plan.

B.S. in Applied Mathematics

The bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics is appropriate for those students who want to focus their energies in the area of applications of mathematics. The B.S.degee is for those students who may seek careers in industry or engineering or may be considering graduate school in the applied sciences. This degree includes a research capstone.

The total coursework requirements include a minimum of 55 units of mathematics, computer science, chemistry and physics beyond the general education prerequisites.
