Donna Martin, M.S., special education program director at the Visalia Center, earned regional recognition as Down Syndrome Association of Central California Educator of the Year. The public announcement will be made at the Sweetheart Luncheon and Fashion Show on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Golden Palace Banquet Hall, Fresno. Martin, a 40-year educator of students with disabilities, has served the region by teaching, administrating and serving through school advisory boards.
