Mission Memorial Court Apartments

The court consists of ten seminary student apartments in five separate units. The first two units were completed in 1966, and the remaining three were finished in 1969. The first unit was dedicated to the memory of Daniel F. Bergthold, a Mennonite Brethren missionary to India. The second unit was dedicated to the memory of John W. Friesen, a rancher from Nebraska who donated most of his estate to the cause of Mennonite Brethren mission work at the time of his death in 1965. The center of the courtyard features a memorial plaque on which are inscribed the names of missionaries from the Mennonite Brethren and Krimmer Mennonite Brethren Church.
