Sunny here—and if you’re dreaming of a college experience filled with connection, creativity and plenty of unforgettable moments, you’ve landed in just the right place. Fresno Pacific University is where community takes flight, and one of the best ways to jump right in is by joining a student club.
At FPU, clubs help you meet new friends, try out interests you never knew you had and feel right at home from day one. Trust me—I’ve met a lot of students over the years, and the ones who get involved always find their people faster than they expect!
A Club for Every Kind of Sunbird
No matter what you’re into, there’s probably a club calling your name. Golf fans can tee off with Birdies & Bogeys, and adventure-seekers who like chalked hands and high climbs will feel right at home in the FPU Climbing Club. Music lovers can join the FPU Mariachi Club—beginners and pros both welcome! Artists and writers can create and connect with Glass House, while outdoor explorers can hit the trails with the Wilderness Club. And if academics get you excited, groups like the Nursing Club and Kinesiology Club offer support, networking and a community that understands your path.
Spaces That Celebrate Culture and Community
Some of the most meaningful friendships grow in spaces where students can share identity, culture and faith. Monarca: Latinx Student Union, Rooted: Black Student Union and Haven offer supportive communities where students can celebrate who they are and uplift one another. Faith-based clubs like Abide, Catholic Gatherings, Fellaship and Fellowship of Christian Athletes welcome anyone looking to grow spiritually while building lasting relationships. These groups bring so much heart to campus—and I love seeing the way they shape our community.

Whether you’re planning events, helping fellow students or simply trying something new, you’ll build leadership, teamwork and communication skills that stick with you long after graduation.
