Joseph Jones, Ph.D., comes to FPU from Forman Christian College (FCC), a chartered university in Lahore, Pakistan, where he was vice rector (provost) starting in 2015. In addition to being chief academic officer, his responsibilities included academic administration, marketing communications and enrollment management. Forman offers programs from kindergarten to the Ph.D. and is the third-oldest university in the country’s history, with 6,347 students, 220 full-time faculty and over 21,700 registered alumni.

Dale Simmons, Ph.D., brings a variety of administrative and academic experience to Fresno Pacific University. As vice president for academic affairs at Aurora (IL) University, he oversaw all academic units and his reports included the deans of undergraduate and online studies, graduate and adult studies and general education. Other positions include provost and vice president for academic affairs at Judson University, Elgin, IL, and associate dean of curriculum and academic development at Bethel College, Mishawaka, IN. As a professor at Judson and an associate professor at Bethel, Simmons taught church history, U.S. history and government and world history. He has a doctorate and master’s in modern history and literature (American religion and culture emphasis) from Drew University and an M.A. and B.A. from Oral Roberts University.

Terry Brensinger, Ph.D., has more than 30 years experience as an ordained minister, professor, board member and trustee in Mennonite-related institutions. His Ph.D. in Old Testament, M.Phil. in biblical studies and M.A. in ancient near Eastern archaeology are from Drew University. His M.Div. is from Asbury Theological Seminary and his B.A. is from Messiah College. He has also served in Africa and Jerusalem. Wherever he has been, his work is a ministry and his goal is to serve.

Diana Bates Mock came to FPU in 2001 as director of communications and university relations. A marketing industry veteran, her titles over the years have included advertising copywriter, creative director, public relations director and independent marketing consultant. She has a B.A. from California State University, Fresno in mass communications, and an M.A. from FPU in leadership and organizational studies.

Gwen Burks, M.A., provides strategic leadership for and ensures effective implementation of initiatives on behalf of the President of Fresno Pacific University. She is responsible for the overall planning and management of the Office of the President and for the direction and oversight of its staff. Burks has over 20 years of experience in higher education and earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno and an M.A. from Fresno State in Education-Administration and Supervision in Higher Education. Burks reports directly to the president and is a member of the President’s Cabinet.

Jon Endicott oversees traditional undergraduate and seminary recruiting in addition to degree completion and graduate admissions. Endicott started his present position in 2009. From 1996-2002, he was in the traditional undergraduate enrollment department as associate director, then director of college admissions. His B.A. is from Concordia University and his M.A. is from the University of California, Irvine. In between his time at Fresno Pacific University, Endicott worked at Fresno Christian Schools.


Aaron Henderson

Aaron Henderson oversees 14 athletics programs and more than 300 student-athletes. He brings 13 years of experience as a coach, teacher and administrator. A student-athlete and campus leader as an undergraduate at Fresno Pacific University, Henderson went on to hold various roles at the university from 2006-2013, including lead assistant men’s basketball coach, events management director and assistant director of athletics. He was part of the administrative team that successfully transitioned the university from the NAIA to NCAA Division II. After a two-year stint as athletics director for Immanuel Schools in Reedley, Henderson returned to his alma mater in 2015. Henderson holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Kinesiology from FPU.

Mark Isaac directed development at MB Biblical Seminary, now Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, before joining the advancement team at Fresno Pacific University. With 22 years in local church pastoral ministry, he brings a sense of joy in generosity to areas including alumni and church development, annual and major gifts, scholarships, grants and donor events. Isaac has a B.A. from Tabor College, and his M.Div. from MB Biblical Seminary. He continues to provide preaching ministry on behalf of the university and seminary as a licensed minister of the Pacific District Conference of Mennonite Brethren churches. He also serves on a foundation board in Visalia where he lives with his wife, Laurie, and their two youngest daughters.

Robert Lippert has 24 years of experience in non-profit leadership, spending the past nine years as chief operating officer at the AIMS Educational Foundation in Fresno. Throughout his career he has worked extensively with budgeting and financial management as well as managing operations, information systems and personnel. In his role, Lippert oversees the university business office and budget process as well the offices of the controller and human resources.

Peter Rios, D.S.L., is responsible for FPU Online, the evaluation and development of new academic innovation and the mission effectiveness for the Office of Continuing Education and the Center for Online Learning. He comes to FPU from the DeVoe School of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University, whose pioneering success in online and off-site education have made it the largest university by enrollment within the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. He is also the CEO and co-founder of Robust Innovative Organizational Solutions (RIOS), a consulting firm for businesses, organizations and religious institutions. Rios completed a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University School of Business, an M.A. in Theological Studies and Transformational Leadership from Northeastern Seminary and an entrepreneurship program for U.S. Veterans at the Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University. Currently he is conducting research in intercultural studies at Fuller Graduate Schools.

Angulus Wilson, Ph.D., was called by the Lord into the ministry in 1991 and today oversees spiritual formation for students at all four campuses of Fresno Pacific University, as well as the areas of student ministries and chapel/College Hour programs. He has attended several colleges and universities, including Fresno Pacific University, Wheaton College, Birmingham Theological Seminary and Ecclesia University of Divinity. His M.A. in Theology is from Wheaton College and his Ph.D. in Divinity Studies is from Ecclesia University of Divinity.

Randy Worden, D.Min., began work at Fresno Pacific University in 2008. Worden has more than 25 years of professional student development experience. He has previously served at such Council for Christian College & University institutions as Northwest Christian University, Houston Baptist University, California Baptist University and Azusa Pacific University. During his career, Worden has spent time as a career counselor, campus pastor, director of residence life and in other senior administrative roles related to student development. He has a B.A. in Christian Education from Seattle Pacific University, an M.Ed. in Student Development from Azusa Pacific University and a D.Min. in Leadership from George Fox University.
