We are excited to welcome Mayor Vong Mouanoutoua to share with us in Chapel. Vong was first elected in 2017 to the Clovis City Council and currently serves as the Mayor of Clovis. Coming from a family of 10, he first immigrated to America in November of 1976 with the belief that hard work, honesty, service, and prioritizing God would lead to a worthwhile life. In 1996, Vong attended UCLA and later returned to the Central Valley where he received a Juris Doctorate Degree from San Joaquin College Of Law.

With gratitude for his journey and where God has allowed him to place roots, Vong takes pride in creating a welcoming environment that impacts many generations. We look forward to hearing the wisdom he has for our campus community.
