Shalon Anderson, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Business at Fresno Pacific University and a dedicated pracademic who connects academic theory with real-world business practice. Supported by 15 years of experience in the field of human resources, she prepares students with the knowledge, practical skills, and critical-thinking abilities needed to succeed in today’s workplace. Her teaching and research interests include organizational behavior, workplace identity, employee experiences, organizational culture, leadership, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness.

In the classroom, Anderson emphasizes applied learning through case studies, simulations, workplace scenarios, collaborative projects, professional speakers, and industry engagement. She creates an interactive learning environment where students connect business concepts to practical challenges, consider multiple perspectives, and develop thoughtful solutions. She is committed to preparing students for the workforce by helping them strengthen their communication, collaboration, leadership, problem-solving, and professional decision-making skills.
