Graduating from Fresno Pacific University does not mean your time in the FPU community has ended, but rather that it has just begun! You are a Sunbird for the rest of your life, and the Alumni Office is dedicated to keeping you informed, interested and active in the FPU community. Here are five ways to stay in touch:
- Stay Connected on Social Media—Following the FPU Alumni Office on Instagram and Facebook will keep you updated with university news, upcoming events, updates from your fellow alumni and other opportunities to stay involved. You might also take a walk down memory lane and spot a nostalgic throwback picture! We would love to hear from you, so be sure to like, comment and share your thoughts.
- Attend Events—Keep your eye out for the monthly Alumni eNews email, which includes university and alumni events you are invited to join. Event details will also be posted on the alumni social media pages. Don’t miss the opportunity to serve coffee at the annual MCC Sale, join your fellow alumni at a Fresno Grizzlies game or come back to campus for a sporting event, concert or seminar.
- Update Your Contact Information and Share Your News in Pacific Magazine—Recently had a baby? We would love to send you a “Born to Soar” baby t-shirt. In addition, we would love to know about your new job, marriage or any exciting updates. Fill out the Alumni Update Form so we can celebrate with you!
- Network—Join the FPU Alumni Association private LinkedIn group. Also remember that as an FPU alumni, you have access to FPU’s Career Services for life.
- Give Back—As proud alumni, we are part of FPU’s enduring legacy, and each gift empowers the next generation of Sunbirds. You can make a gift to a specific sport or program that made an impact on your time here, or support ongoing efforts like University and Seminary scholarships, the Student Bible Initiative or where needed most.
Whether you stay involved through networking, giving, attending events, following along online or all of the above, you’ll always be a Sunbird and we’ll be cheering you on! Go Birds!
