Get Ready for the West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale

April 7, 2026

By Holly Goble

The West Coast Mennonite Relief Sale is coming back to Fresno Pacific in April!

Hosted by a collective of Mennonite Brethren and Anabaptist churches across the West Coast, this annual Sale supports the life-changing work of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).

100% of the funds raised from this Sale are used by MCC to bring relief efforts to people in need around the world.

As one of just two Mennonite Brethren higher education institutions in the United States, Fresno Pacific is excited to host this meaningful event.

It’s a partnership that makes sense! The Sale brings together generations of Sunbirds of the past and present and helps tie the community together.

The first MCC Sale (as it was previously and more commonly known) has deep roots, dating back to 1967 when it first took place in Alvin Peter’s fruit packing shed. In the mid-1980s it found a home on FPU’s campus, where it has continued to grow. The items for sale have varied over the years, but the quilt auction and great food have always been a mainstay.

Join us this year on April 10–11 for this two-day event!

The Sale offers many opportunities full of connection and fun. Whether you enjoy thrifting some used books, admiring and bidding on beautiful, hand-crafted quilts, shopping fair trade, letting kids run around, spending time with friends or eating good food, there’s sure to be something for you to enjoy!

There’s something here for everyone, and every purchase makes a difference.

We hope to see you there!
