About

I teach at FPU to contribute to the training of the next generation of kinesiologists and educators in the San Joaquin Valley of California and beyond. My research is in the Trucha Camp Method (a combination of Dr. Maria Montessori and Pablo Freire) which integrates growth mind set, plus principles of culturally relevant pedagogy with focus in leadership, ethical character and critical thinking using the trucha code of ethics good, right and true as guide posts.

Also, I teach at FPU to continue the connection with community to reach the least of these, the down and out and the historically marginalized. I choose to foster a learning community that fosters growth together in research, mentorship and conference attendance. By incorporating culturally relevant dynamics into the pedagogy coursework, students are better equipped to enter the workforce in the San Joaquin Valley of California.

Additional Information:

At Home and at Work, I strive to share joy, encouragement, and love (JEL) as a Christian, teacher, father, son, friend and coworker, walking by faith as Jesus leads the way. Be like Jesus reach the least of these.
