Around this time in 2022, I experienced something unforgettable. Being new to the country, the holiday season felt uncertain—I didn’t know what to expect or where I would belong.
Then, a friend invited me to spend the festive season with their family. From the moment I walked through their door, I was warmly welcomed. Their kindness and generosity turned what could have been a lonely season into one of my most cherished memories.
